In 2007, we will be offering our customers:
* 100% Pastured beef
* 100% Pastured lamb
Our production, ordering, and pick up procedures are as follows:
* Our grassfed beef & lamb is butchered 3 times during the grass growing season.
* It is cut, wrapped, and frozen by our butcher and ready for pick up on specified pick up dates in August, September, and October.
* Beef is sold by hanging weight in 1/4's, 1/2's, and wholes.
* Customers pre-order and pay a "securing fee"--approximately 1/3 the final cost of the meat product. They choose the pick up date that best suits them.
* We call customers approx. one week before pick up to tell them the hanging weight, their final balance, and to remind them of the pick up date.
Our 2007 Pricing...
Beef (Limited remaining supply)
Quarter: $2.95/lb. Deposit $150
Half: $2.80/lb. Deposit $300
Whole: $2.65/lb. Deposit $600
Additional Cut and Wrap Fee of $.45 per lb.
Average Weight for a Quarter Beef is 130 lbs.
Lamb (Sold out for 2007)
Whole (only) $3.95/lb. Deposit $40
Additional Cut and Wrap Fee of $45 dollars per lamb
Average Weight for a lamb is 40-50 lbs.
